Subaru is another popular Japanese carmaker for mini trucks. Subaru started manufacturing these mini trucks with the name Sambar. The first model of Subaru Sambar mini truck came in the market was KT2. KT2 is 4X4 4 speed mini truck fitted with 550 cc petrol engine. After KT2, the next model of Sambar mini truck was KT6. It was again 4x4, 4 speed mini dump truck. KT6 mini dump truck is fitted with 550 cc petrol engine.
In early 19ties Subaru launched two new models; KS3 and KS4 both models are fitted with 660 petrol engine and 5 speed manual transmission. KS3 and KS4 both come in flatbed and in dump body.
